World Cup Photolesson: It's OK For Men To Cry
World Cup soccer teaches life lessons in pictures.
Here, both Giorgio Chiellini (left) of Italy and Luis Suarez of Uruguay appear to cry for Mommy to pick them up and comfort them as the referee walks away.
Chiellini's anguish is legitimate. Suarez just bit him on the shoulder during a skirmish in front of the net, an infraction deserving of a penalty. The lesson: Stand up for yourself when it counts.
Suarez is crying because he is fake. He wants the world to think he was maliciously whacked in the mouth by Chiellini's shoulder. He was banned from the rest of the Cup. The lesson: Don't lose you temper. Or, if you lose your temper, don't commit a crime. Or, if you commit a crime, own up to it. Or, if you don't own up to it, don't try to get away with it while cameras are rolling and billions of people are watching. It won't end well.
