Normal Community plays Normal West for the regional title on Friday at 7:30!
Meanwhile, from a net article, a little perspective from someone who knows:
Eyes on the prize, Spartans. Tunnel vision
was on Tom Izzo's mind after learning that his team had clinched at
least a share of the Big Ten title without moving a muscle. The Spartans
held a team meeting after
Wisconsin upset
Ohio State
on Sunday, and the coach complimented his players before issuing them a
challenge to not let self-congratulation distract from the bigger
picture.
"This is our seventh in my era, so been there, done that before," Izzo said of a Big Ten championship.
"It's going to be great, and there's going to be a day for it to be
really special for hopefully you, for me, for them, for our fans.
It's just not now because our goal at the beginning of the year is to
play deep into the NCAA tournament and win a Big Ten championship."
