Thanks For The Audition

My friendly theater agent Wendi Fleming introduced me to an audition for the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts' summer production of Hairspray! Six shows are planned for the last weekend in July and first weekend in August. The Illinois muggy heat would be quite the experience if I end up as Corny Collins dancing around in a suit, and the possibility of rain adds another unusual flair to the experience. My audition is Tuesday June 2 at 7:30pm. Despite its status as my first and possibly dearest show, I'm especially looking forward to the vehicle it can be toward my annual goal of making new acquaintances. Often times the people I meet in new adventures can lead to other people and even more adventures.
