Someone recently asked me, philosophically: If there is no heaven, then what's the point?
Heaven could be a magical place. But whether or not there is a heaven, I believe that there is still a point to living. Like every other aspect of creation, in my view, the point is that God made us for a reason. By my best estimation, we're made for God's pleasure, mostly by living brightly and helping others to do the same. Life burns infinitely briefly, considering the utter vastness of the universe and time itself, and our impact upon it is proportionately and nearly invisibly small. Our point is to bloom as a vibrant flower in this great cosmic garden of God's, until our time here is done. And, hopefully, until our time elsewhere begins.
