CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Cubs announced Thursday afternoon the hiring of a young, bald-headed coach from some other team to replace the recently fired older, bald-headed man as its field manager.
Managerial competence and name recognition was given some consideration in the final decision, admitted president Theo Epstein, but not nearly so much as "a nice, smooth, full head of skin."
