On my team we say that the secret of basketball is that it's not about basketball.
Last night our season ended in a close game. Along the way, there were mistakes and there were great plays.
The post-game locker room was extremely sad for being outscored, and for the end of the team.
Hopefully the memory of the final score and the execution along the way will soon be forgotten, and we'll remember more the spirit of teamwork and the life lessons that we enjoyed and suffered as a team.
Today begins a new season!
