An uplifting exchange from an older employee at the gym I visit every day:
Employee: "Can I ask you a question?"
Me: "Sure."
Employee: "Do you ever not smile? Every time I see you here, you have the greatest smile."
Me: "Oh... I suppose it helps to keep the blues away."
Employee: "Well, you succeed every day."
