"You are never so far down that you can't get back up again." - Anthony Hargrove, NFL player
Hargrove was speaking to a juvenile detention center in New Orleans, reflecting on the days he spent as a troubled youth in New York City.
In the last week I can think of a few slips of the tongue that I'd like to have back. Poor word choices tend to happen to those who talk too much. Sometimes all you can do is take your medicine and get moving again.
Who knows what challenges next week will bring? Something as grave as what Hargrove faced in his battered neighborhood? Or some misfortune of our own doing?
No matter what, success is inevitable - as long as we accept it, and move deliberately toward it.
