Memories: 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

It's been two years since Brett Cottone, Tony Smith and a devoted staff delivered us through the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

How could I forget:

Kallie Bundy's debut as the adorable Olive Ostrovsky?

Joel Shoemaker's boyish portrayal of Chip Tolentino?

Kelly Slater's lisping innocence as Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre?

Brian Artman's gracefully cocky Willam Barfee?

Austin Travis' clumsy and cuddly Leaf Coneybear?

Chris Stanford's intimidatingly sexy Mitch Mahoney?

Megan Masterman's unmatchable performance as ubertalented Marcy Park?

Aimee Kerber beautifully partner-in-criming it with me the whole way through?

Douglas Panch was my favorite role that I've played. We were off book so early that the last month before opening night was practically a parade. The crowds roared, the cast charmed, it's a show unlike any other with its improv and wit. Remembering it fondly this Memorial Day!
