Thanks For The Rain

Nearly every spring, and all throughout the year, I'm thankful for rain. "When it's raining, it's not snowing" has long been one of my mantras. Even though I prefer sunny days over any other, it may be something about the element of cleansing and renewal that nudges my heart fondly toward it. The grass has transformed from wispy to full, to its most vibrant green, and with a dewiness that Cupcake loves to sip. Water is life for us all; it is so scarce in so many places on Earth, yet so abundant here. It's a symbol of warmth worth celebrating.
