We arrived exactly 45 minutes prior to our scheduled 9:41 departure. Parking is fairly easy, and it's comforting that the lot is shared with the police station. Inside the train station are little tickets that you fill out with the beginning and end dates of your stay, and leave on your windshield to keep Joe's Towing at bay.
The guy behind the glass window (shatterproof? I didn't test it) looks like a cousin of Colonel Sanders, specifically the side of the family that's not terribly interested in me.
Historical note: The station was rededicated on June 16, 1990 thanks to the apparently heroic efforts of David Murray. Also on that day, the arm rest of the bench I'm sitting on was loosened such that unsuspecting travelers would topple like clowns when trying to rise (Murray, that prankster).
