Fast Forward, ASAP

"Believe me, it doesn't outweigh the stuff to look forward to, not even close." - Ray Towler, freed after 29 years of wrongful imprisonment

We heard about Ray earlier in the week, but today was a good day for a fresh cup of his upbeat attitude.

Why is it that even a fairly routine work day sometimes makes a body more listless than usual? A nap feels more valuable than dinner. Thoughts drift off the road and linger in the ruts there.

Was it something about the way we slept, or ate, or sat? The fact that the first low-hanging autumn cloud cover has dulled the skies?

Ray might say, "Who cares?" Get busy chasing your future. Countless little wins are out there waiting to be gotten... pick one and dwell on it. Maybe find a quiet place or grab a bite first to boost your energy, with the excitement of the "stuff to look forward to" leading the way. It could be as simple as a good breakfast in the morning, or a favorite TV program tonight. We are blessed!
