A new NCHS hoops season began today, the first in six years that I won't be a major part of. I still plan to pop in to help with stats from time to time, maybe even review some film as time permits.
As much as I thought my legacy might be as a basketball coach the way it was for my dad, I can still see his legacy as a teacher running through me, as I find it exciting to help hundreds of students inch closer to graduation. I have much more talent for this than in trying to dissect a full-court press.
