Dena's Knee Scoped To Health

Dena paid a visit to the Surgical Center today and came through with flying colors in repairing a torn meniscus in the knee.

The knee, which had been complaining loudly for several months, is expected to adhere to a gag order going forward.

Despite the availability, pain medications have not been taken as of press time. Mild stiffness has not prevented her walking freely about the house, including the stairs, without crutches. Inflammatories have done the job.

The procedure itself took less than 40 minutes, followed by 40 minutes of de-groggifying from the drugs.

Doctor Lawrence Li, a man as kind and spindly as he is skilled, performed the surgery.

Dena can shower in two days. Afterward, she can begin physical therapy. Return to work is estimated to be Tuesday.
